In Elise’s past life, she grew up in a family tailoring business that would eventually grow into a well-known bridal business, Cindy’s Bridal in her hometown of Reading, PA. Since the young age of 8, she had to be fully engrossed in all aspects of the business due to her parents’ limited English speaking abilities: marketing, advertising and promotions, sales, customer service, and purchasing and ordering would become second nature to her. Having grown up this way, it was an organic reality that she would eventually have her own business and is constantly dreaming up and brainstorming ideas about the many MULTIPLE businesses she wants to create.
Elise also currently holds professional licenses in both Cosmetology and Esthetics which initially was just a hobby of sorts that created amazing opportunities for her and helped to develop who she is as a brand. Over the past 20 years, she has had the pristine privilege to work with, train for and represent some very notable brands such as Sephora, Ulta, Fresh Cosmetics, Philosophy, Dermadoctor, and Tarte Cosmetics to name a few. She has also lent her expertise to the Look Good, Feel Better Program as a volunteer Make-Up Artist teaching beauty techniques to female cancer patients to help them combat the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment.
These experiences have enabled Elise to have the confidence to do public speaking engagements about educating women how to look their best and how to present their best image in life and in the workplace as well as speaking engagements on Career Days for varying cosmetology programs and organizations such as NCNW (National Council of Negro Women) at Temple University. She continues to hold quarterly classes to educate women on self-appearance education that offer tips on both make-up and skincare.
Elise has also been a guest co-writer for NBC Philadelphia for varying articles related to skincare and beauty.
Elise’s education just doesn’t stop there. After divorcing her first husband, she realized that she truly wanted to have a degree and was and is still very passionate about education in an overall sense. She received a full scholarship and attended Reading Area Community College where she got her Associates in Education and went on to graduate with a Bachelor’s in English Education with scholarships and grants that paid almost all of her tuition. It was during this time as a single mom of her then 2 year old daughter, that she realized she was capable of so much more and was able to complete a 4 year degree in 3 years’ time. Elise also realized during her student teaching that teaching wasn’t about students anymore and that schools were run more like a business than anything else and felt very limited within the four walls of a classroom, yet the experiences she gained during that time have been immeasurable in creating her dreams, vision and in becoming her own brand.
Currently, Elise is thriving in her role as an Independent Star Stylist & Business Coach with Stella & Dot. She represents a globally recognized, celebrity coveted lifestyle affordable luxury brand that enables women the freedom and flexibility to design their own life via social selling, hosting fun and stylish in-home boutique trunk shows, fundraisers, personal styling sessions, and events. Elise is passionate about giving women the ability to create their best lives while raising a family and is inspired to empower women to have it all: family, career, and most importantly their own selves. She aspires to bring the career opportunity to every woman and is whole-heartedly vested in providing coaching to motivate and inspire women to take charge of creating their own path to fulfilling their dreams.
